My life began in a small farm town in Alberta. We pretty much knew everyone and everyone knew us. That’s how it is with less than 1,200 people in a town.

If you’ve been reading our blog or our real estate investing newsletters for any length of time I am pretty sure you already know some of our own nightmare stories, from the tenant with a knife that took 3 months to evict to the manslaughter case to the fire code violation charges we had to plead guilty to, we have had our share of fun times with tenants, property managers and rental properties. We’ve even had trees take over plumbing and a tree grow out our basement window.
