We bought this fabulous family home for $278,000. The seller had some motivation because his girlfriend was pressuring him to sell so they could buy a new place together but the market wasn’t cooperating with him. It was a quiet time for sales this winter and given all the work that the home needed – it didn’t show well.

The Cool Thing About Kangaroos

I learned something pretty cool about kangaroos recently. Did you know that they CANNOT go backwards? They can pause or they can hop forward … but that is it.

I’m thinking we should all be a little bit more kangaroo-like … what do you think??

Do You Need a Website as a Real Estate Investor?

The website I created for the purposes of attracting JV Partners is badly out of date. We’ve done a few million dollars more in deals, been featured in two published books, and have won a few more awards since I’ve updated it! I don’t dedicate any time at all to our website anymore. It’s not that I don’t think a website is a good idea, it’s just that we’ve realized that a website doesn’t really raise money for you.
